Blancpain L-Evolution Moonphase 8 Days 43.5mm watch. Model reference: 8866-1134-53B. The complicated timepiece is a perfectly stylish accessory with extremely long power-reserve period up to eight days. The round 43.5mm case of 15.55mm thickness is performed in stainless steel and features transparent back. The multi-layered grey dial has a large cutout in the centre displaying a baseplate. The polished steel leaf-shaped hands have luminescent inlays and the seconds hand is performed in skeletonized design. The oversized hour and minute markers are presented by applied 3 and 9 steel Roman Numerals rims with luminescent inlays, square luminescent-filled rims for other hours, and steel sticks for minute indication. The outer chapter ring with the central moon-shaped end hand serves for the date indication. At the 12 o’clock, there is the day of the week and month windows beneath the power-reserve indicator. The moonphase window and the small seconds sub-dial are placed at the 6 o’clock. The corrector button is placed beneath the lugs on the case back for an uninterrupted look. The date can be completely changed regardless of the time thanks to the revolutionary method for adjusting the indications with no fear of movement damage. The detachable lugs allow easy strap change. The mechanical self-winding 66R9 movement has 325 components and 36 jewels. It features an impressive 192-hour power reserve.
