With the first workshop opened two years before, Arnold & Son was founded in 1764. The iconic watch-making brand produced the first timepiece called a chronometer. Nowadays, the company works on launching at least a pair of new movements yearly as each model has its own built in-house mechanism.

The Arnold and Son Royal Tourbillon Chronometer No.36 46mm watch. Model reference: 1ETAS.G01A.C112S. A part of the limited edition of 28 pieces, the precise chronometer is a tribute to symmetry and skeletonization that has always been the hallmark of the brand. Its rounded 46mm case is made of stainless steel with a see-through back. The exquisite dial consists of the inner bezel featuring rhodium indexes. The watch’s complicated mechanism is visible through the sapphire crystal. In the centre, there are two sword-shaped hands for hour and minute indicating. The seconds sub-dial is placed between the 7 and 8 o’clock. There is also a tourbillon cage situated symmetrically to it. The in-house made Arnold & Son mechanical movement is wound manually. It contains 33 jewels and features 90-hour power reserve. The strap is made of brown alligator leather and fitted with a tang buckle. It is water resistant up to 30 meters.
